2. Hosting and server log files

This website is hosted as a static site with Netlify (Netlify, Inc., San Francisco, CA, USA). Netlify processes the data transmitted via the website on our behalf. As the provider is based in the USA, a transfer to the USA may occur. The basis for this is appropriate safeguards, such as EU standard contractual clauses or a certification under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is to be concluded with Netlify.

When the website is accessed, the provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files that your browser transmits. These are usually:

• anonymized or shortened IP address
• date and time of access
• page or file requested
• amount of data transferred and notification of successful retrieval
• referrer URL as well as browser type and operating system

This data cannot be assigned to specific individuals. Processing takes place to ensure secure and stable operation on the basis of our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

3. Locally hosted fonts

The fonts used on this website are delivered locally from this website's server. There is no connection to third-party servers (for example Google Fonts), and no IP addresses are transmitted to third parties.

4. Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies for marketing or tracking purposes and uses no analytics tool. Your behavior is not tracked.

5. Contact by email or phone

If you contact me by email or phone, your details will be processed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding). The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for the purpose, provided there are no statutory retention obligations.

6. Contact form

Data you enter via the contact form (in particular name, email address, optionally company and your message) is processed to handle your inquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.

Sending is handled via Netlify Forms, a service of the hosting provider Netlify (see section 2). The form data is stored with Netlify, possibly also in the USA. The safeguards mentioned in section 2 apply. The data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required for processing.
